WHO WE ARE
Meet the Team at JMP Consulting
JMP Consulting is an engineering consulting business, located in North Central Pennsylvania, we specialize in process equipment design for the mineral and biomass industries.
With several decades of experience in the engineering and manufacturing industry, the company's founder has a background in the arts and a degree in mechanical engineering, providing a unique blend of creativity and expertise.
Our business specializes in designing large scale manufacturing equipment and excels in creating designs that retrofit existing equipment to solve expensive or dangerous problems for production. We work with leaders in the iron ore processing industry, biomass processing companies, and other engineering firms that need to outsource work.
Though we are small, we are mighty. Our small size and unique blend of experience gives us the ability to excel in R&D projects that larger supply companies struggle to find time for. This also allows us to foster relationships with our clients and gives us room to care deeply about solving the problems brought to us.
Jeff Pancher
Founder & Mechanical Engineer
After completing 2 ½ years of a bachelor’s of arts degree at the Pennsylvania State University, Mr. Pancher switched his focus towards mechanical engineering.
With a degree in Mechanical Engineering completed, he went on to study at Widener University in pursuit of a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. His work career began at a small consulting firm, performing engineering tasks and test work for Boeing, on military aviation contracts.
His next adventure was in the mining industry with Metso,
working in their Pyro processing division as an engineer, project manager, technical sales assistant and laboratory worker. Mr. Pancher left Metso to pursue work with Andritz in their Feed and Biofuel division, working as an engineer and technical sales support for Biofuel and other industrial processes.
After leaving Andritz in 2018, JMPancher Consulting was formed.

Jim Foresman
Mechanical Engineer
Jim has over 50 years of engineering experience and has applied his talents to designing, building and manufacturing start-up equipment that has been used to process bulk materials in the pulp & amp; paper, chemical, feed & amp; grain and iron ore processing industries.
Andritz: During his time at Andritz Jim gained experience designing and building equipment for the thermo-mechanical pulping and fiber board industries. He also was involved in designing pelleting equipment for the feed and grain industry and screeners and
sifters used to size classify dry bulk materials.
Metso: While at Metso, Jim was involved with the design of rotary kilns, ported kilns, iron ore pelletizing equipment including traveling grates, straight grates and associated cooling equipment. Was also
responsible for the Holo-Flite equipment line which is a pressurized screw device used to dry or cool bulk materials.
Familiar with all aspects of manufacture including foundry, fabrication, machining and assembly, Jim also has experience with thermodynamic analysis and heat transfer processes, stress analysis and finite element analysis for machine components.
Other expertise includes familiarity with the ASME Pressure Vessel code, Section VIII, Div. 1. Jim currently holds 10 patents.

Sara Klein
CAD Modeler
Sara studied metal smithing, casting, hydraulic forming and plastics, and concentrated her studies in CAD modeling and rapid prototyping.
She had stints as a CAD modeler for a high end jeweler and creating prototypes for an inventor.
Managing a homeschooling co-op for almost a decade gave Sara management experience.
These combined skills brought her to JMP to both model and business management for JMP.
